Faversham Optical was founded in 2009 by Dispensing Optician Chris Richards BSc FBDO. Initially, we provided training to optical professionals and practice managers, and we continue to provide management consultancy and advice to a range of optical companies in the South East.

In 2013 we branched out into online spectacles as we felt there was an opportunity to provide quality designer spectacles and sunglasses at a fraction of the usual High Street price. We aim to cut prices, not quality.

Now we have been online for ten years, we have established ourselves in a competitive market and continue to offer a great service at a great price.

We are constantly adding new products and designer brands.

We can supply everything your regular optician can at a fraction of the price.

Our designer glasses brands

We are always looking to provide our customers with a wide range of quality brands. Our most popular ranges include designer glasses frames by Lipsy, Kangol, O’Neill, Caterpillar, Botaniq, Hygge, Superdry, Stepper, Radley and Dunlop. We also now stock Ted Baker.

We also stock designer frames from a selection of specialist brands, such as Alberto Modiani, Air Force, You Young, Ambri, Demenego, Otto, Nordlite, Enrico Coveri, Sweet Years, Rage, Mission, Rafting, Nazareno Corsini, Borsalino, Caractere, Superbike, People, Christies and Truth.

Our value ranges include Solo, Senator, Visage, Icy, Iwear, Freeway and Planet.

Our local home dispensing service

We continue to offer a local home dispensing service and free delivery/repairs throughout Kent. Get in touch to book an appointment. We also work evenings and weekends so you can try on our complete range at home. We make sure that they fit correctly too.

All spectacles are made in the UK and sourced through UK suppliers.

Quality Control

I personally check every order before dispatch. I am a qualified dispensing optician with almost 30 years of experience in optics as a manager, regional manager, practice director, company director, optical management consultant and lab technician.
